Established in 2005, our monthly club nights have grown into some of London’s most popular and distinctive desi nights out. We pride ourselves on the eclectic mix of party goers, electric music and friendly atmosphere.
In an effort to be different from the usual desi club nights where bhangra and RnB tracks typically rule the dance floor, entertainment professional Jas Pandohar founded Bombay Funkadelic to inject some Bollywood fun and flavour into London’s party scene.
Bringing on board clubland talent such as resident DJ Shai Guy, Vik Toreus, Doni Brasco, DJ Nish, DJ Munks, Mixalucks and Paxstar, Bombay Funkadelic has grown into a quality party enterprise.
Bombay Funkadelic aims to entertain fans of Bollywood, Desi Beats and commercial dance music with an inspired (sometimes kitsch) choice of soundtracks. Fans of yesteryear and modern Hindi films and western chart hits will feel at home here. We deliver an experience aimed at Asian music lovers and anyone interested in discovering a vibrant new party scene.
Retro masters, such R D Burman, Bappi Lahiri, Asha Bhosle and Mohammed Rafi are just some of the artistes you’ll hear along side Michael Jackson, James Brown and other legends. Not to deny space to modern maestros, the likes of Badshah, A R Rahman, MIA, Diljit Dosanjh and Arijit Singh can be heard alongside Beyonce, Drake and Rihanna.
